Cassie’s Hope was established to assist the family of Philip Santore, a respected member of the physical security consultant community, in meeting the onerous financial obligations associated with caring for their 10 year old daughter, Cassie. Cassie and her twin sister shared a placenta and circulatory system during their mother’s pregnancy. While her sister was born healthy, Cassie was challenged with myriad problems from birth and now suffers from Cerebral Palsy. There is no cure for Cerebral Palsy but thanks to local donations and support, Cassie is enrolled in a treatment program that is designed to help her live as independently as possible. Recently, Phil and his wife were informed that the State of Connecticut could not provide the financial support they anticipated.
